What readers are saying about Ring of Lapis:
Great read!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book … it’s written so beautifully that I was gripped immediately.
Listening to this Audible book at every opportunity, MD Hall’s narration took me into each scene as if I was right there, observing as the story unfolded.
So sad was I, to reach the end, that I started it over again.
Can’t wait for the next one from MD!

This is a very well-written, well-researched novel set in a fascinating period of Roman occupation in Northern Britain … a real page-turner … a flowing, easy-to-read style and the story unfolds with a cracking pace and energy.
Db *****
A thundering ride through a divided northern Britain in the early 3rd Century.
I particularly enjoyed the first dark stirrings of Caracalla and the intrigues of the imperial family - after all, what’s a story involving Ancient Rome without at least a few swirling plots and mad emperors in the mix?

Bloodthirsty!
A punchy and gritty, warts n all depiction. If you enjoy historical fiction, then this is a captivating read.
